SEA/BUS Post-SFDI 2017:
 

Following the recent success of their evening-length performance, Indigo, SEA/BUS (SEAttle + ColumBUS) Improvisational Dance Company reconvenes at Velocity Dance Center to break ground on two new works. Thrilled to launch their next season in the company of the country's most skilled and celebrated improvisational artists, SEA/BUS engages the Seattle Festival of Dance Improvisation as a company residency and crucible of mentorship and collaboration.

A one-night-only show at the conclusion of SFDI, Afterdance is an evening of work-in-development wrought in the forge of off-hours rehearsals and dance all-nighters. Afterdance embodies the poetry of exquisite sensitivity, offers a singular glimpse into the future of performance improvisation, and initiates the unfurling of SEA/BUS's new work into two evening-length events set to premier in Columbus, OH in October of 2017, in Seattle 2018, and beyond.
